Slaveship Lyrics

Josh Rouse

- Slaveship -
A slaveship, lost at sea
A slaveship, lost at sea
And I'm drowning, your waters deep
I'm drowning, your waters deep
A spaceship, in the country
A spaceship, in the country
And we're flying, into green
We're flying, into green
And I told you a thousand times (sold you a thousand lies)
I love you, would you marry me?
I love you, would you marry me?
The city, there's an empty street
The city, there's an empty street
And we're dancing, to the lonely beat
We're dancing, to the lonely beat
Your building, is where we'll meet
Your building, is where we'll meet
And I'm hungry, lets get something to eat
I'm hungry, lets get something to eat
Cos I told you a thousand times (sold you a thousand lies)
I love you, would you marry me?
I love you, would you marry me?
Your daddy, he ain't like me
Yoir daddy, he ain't like me
I'm striving, I so wanna be
I'm striving, I got to agree
One day girl, you'll be my queen
One day girl, I'll be your king
And we'll reign, in a castle supreme
We'll reign in, a castle supreme
Cos I told you a thousand times (sold you a thousand lies)
I love you, would you marry me?
I love you, would you marry me?
Cos I told you a thousand times (sold you a thousand lies)
I love you, would you marry me?
I love you, would you marry me?
